Description:  These two stone farmhouses belong to one family which explains why they have been built so close to each other. One house is derelict and will most certainly require rebuilding, it is built entirely of beautiful old stone which can be re-used in the rebuild. The other stone house is not immediately habitable (used only for farming at present) and will require complete renovation. Beautiful setting with wonderful views.

Comments: The problem here is that you have two houses so close together that it isn’t viable to sell them independently. It would be very costly to rebuild/renovate both houses and you probably would not be able to move the volume of one after demolition, to another site. On the plus side, the price for both houses is around the asking price for one property in a similar condition. So you could renovate one house and, since there are new regulations about increasing volume you could use all the stone from the other in the renovation ie to build new loggias, walls, barbecues, gates, pool house etc. It’s so difficult to get hold of enough old stone for renovations and when you can it’s costly, that it makes good sense to take advantage of a ‘double whammy’ offer like this.  If you are particularly looking for a house to renovate, then these two are worth a view.  The location is a dream, secluded and tranquil.
