Casa Gentucca is an old Tuscan farmhouse with separate barn built around the turn of the 12th century both properties have been recently restored retaining all the original period features such as characteristic fireplaces, chestnut beams and cotto floors, are all faithfully brought back to life. 

Location: The property is about 9 kms south west of the city of Lucca and is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, olive groves, vineyards & hilltop villages with picturesque old churches. There are two villages nearby offering a range of local shops, cafe's and good family restaurants. Lucca is famous for its wine and there are several good vineyards such as Tenuta Forci, Tenuta Maria Teresa, Greo, to name but a few all within 10 minutes drive of the property.

Larger Farmhouse; Approx 350 sqm with 4 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and ample living space. Outside there is a shaded area for dining seating upto 12 people with the added enjoyment of an outside pizza oven! The property Sleeps 8 +2

La Piccolina small converted barn:About 140 square metres , with large sitting room, kitchen /dining room, upstairs there are two double bedrooms, large landing and two bathrooms. Outside there is a seperate shaded terrace with dining table, chairs and BBQ. Sleeps 4 +2

Exterior : There is a swimming pool about 50 metres away in the grounds. It is 25 ft x 25 ft in diameter of octagonal shape and hand finished in teak wood to blend harmoniously and conform with strictly protected countryside views.

There are plenty of deck chairs and sun loungers as well as tables and chairs dotted around the grounds.

The swimming pool is shared by the two houses.
